**Abstract**
This talk is about the most popular front-end framework for Web UI - React JS, the session will include an introduction to React, its scope and will be Bootstrapping a small project with
```
npx create-react-app
```
Students will get to know the use-case scenario of using react for making high performing front-end applications and will also know about creating PWAs with React.
**About**
This would be a beginner to upper beginner level introduction to React.
Concepts of React that would potentially be covered -
- React class and functional components
- React hooks
- Props and functions
- Conditional rendering
- States and **this** keyword
**Pre-requisites**
Basics of JS and Promises with Arrow Functions ( I would briefly explain these in the starting though )
** Projector and internet connection **
**Expected duration **: 3 to 4 hour

**Speaker Bio**
I am a CSE student from Jaypee institute of information technology, Noida -62, currently in my 3rd year. I have been into React from the pas 6-7 months, completed 3 internships in ReactJS. FB Student Facilitator DevC19, DSC coordinator JIIT-62. I have 10+ projects in MERN Stack and in love with React and assisting technologies.
