“could not connect to netflix addon repository”

i am trying to install netflix on a raspberry pi 3b+ with this guide https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/netflix-amazon-video-plex-raspberry-pi/
but it didn’t work and i got the “cannot connect to repository” message. i realised that the guide told you to downgrade osmc but even when i tried it in a brand spanking new install whit no downgrading it did not work.
