Does not seem to work on Model M8S PRO L

Trying to run on the M8S PRO L
### Prerequisites

* [x] Are you running the latest version?
0.13.21 with kodi 18 rc3

### Description

After install I'm able to browse through, but not able to play. After exiting once this is not possible. I'm getting continously an error is happening(and to check the log). I'm also redirected to the video screen.

## Other information
I got it working on my laptop.

Start by reviewing the linked debug log and reproducing the failure on the M8S PRO L with Android 7.1.2 and Kodi 18 RC3. Done means browsing and playback work after installation and continue working after exiting, without the reported error or redirection to the video screen.
