Description
MySQL and MariaDB are quite similar (but there might be some differences, extra functions, functionalities, easier library interface to use). Thus, it is quite easy to add a wrapper for MySQL to the application.
Idea: using directives, ...
Do not forget to write tests for the new wrapper, too.
