Description

This repository is the public preview for ZombieEscape. The full game source lives in a private repository. This issue explains how community testing and evaluation will work.

## Overview

1. A build is published under Releases (alpha, beta, or test).
2. The matching test task is posted as a pinned issue.
3. Testers install the build and work through the checklist in the test task.
4. Testers report back by opening a new issue in the test report format.

## Build stages

- Alpha: early builds, core features only, expect instability.
- Beta: feature-complete for the release, focus on bugs and polish.
- Test: targeted builds for a single feature or fix.

## How to take part

- Watch this repository to be notified of new builds and test tasks.
- Read the pinned test task for the current build.
- Install the build from the linked Release.
- Follow the checklist and file a report.

## Where things go

- Bug reports and test results: Issues.
- Questions, ideas, and general feedback: Discussions.

## Current phase

Feature implementation, bugfixing, and polishing.
