Description
Hello, I'm reporting an issue on the particle system.
First there is something that is not really an issue but it's not intuitive and maybe it can be changed:
When placing hairs for ground cover, the mesh must be rotated around the X axis by +90°, the object itself must not have rotation.
Now when rendering, the particles have a hole. This part of the mesh which doesn't seem to correspond to a full face, rather maybe a ground of fragments, is popping up beside the meshes.
@moisesjpelaez i'm pinging you here following our exchange on discord.

Research direction
Reproduce the particle-system render with the reported ground-cover mesh orientation: rotate the mesh +90° on X while leaving the object unrotated. Inspect the particle rendering path for the holes and displaced fragments; done means the rendered particles no longer show either artifact. No source file or test is identified in the report.
