Description
Arduino IDE 1.8.8, Windows 10
Please provide the user with the ability to separate the IDE editor code pane/dialog/window from the console information pane/dialog/window. Allow the user to write code on one monitor and view the output on another monitor.
And if someone does that, please allow the user to select background and foreground colors. The red on black is difficult for me to read.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the Arduino IDE 1.x editor and console window implementation. Determine how the editor and console could be separated across monitors and how foreground and background colors are currently handled. Done means users can place code and console output in separate windows and configure both colors.
