Arduino Port doesn't show up for Macbook air

Sorry if this is not the right place for this problem, it is my first time posting something like this on github.

I use a MacBook Air for my Arduino Uno. When I go to select the port under the tools tab, the port does not show up.
Anyone know how I can fix this?
