**Description**: Consider rendering lists of consecutive references as ranges to make this easier to read and take up less space on screen (esp mobile devices).

Additionally, although these links are exempt from tap target minimum sizes, they are very small for navigating on a mobile device particularly when in long lists like this where it's difficult to make a tap that distinguishes between neighbouring links.
