Figure from standalone .tex is not shown

### Description

I encountered the error in the arXiv preprint:

Figure 1 is supposed to be a tikz illustration, with the code in a separate file (figs/geom_diagram.tex), but it's not shown.
The code in the main file to create it is
\resizebox{\linewidth}{!}{
\includestandalone{figs/geom_diagram}
}
