Some LaTeX overpic commands aren’t displayed

### Description

Some of the first pictures that are written as a LaTeX overpic command aren’t displayed and there is just the plain text while the bottom ones are displayed, although I don’t know if the bottom ones are rendered using a different command or type, so maybe some overpic commands work (Safari on iPadOS 26.4 and iOS 26.5)

Problem is seen when viewing the experimental HTML on Safari on an iPad. There is another report of the same issue but screenshots of that report show different commands that are not displayed (seems it’s not an issue of those specific commands, or the underlying code or file got changed and different commands cause the issue now)

Reproduce the issue by opening the linked paper URL as experimental HTML in Safari on the reported iPadOS and iOS versions. Compare the first missing overpic figures with the lower figures that render, then trace the HTML rendering path for those commands. Done means all overpic figures in the paper display rather than falling back to plain text.
