Add a counter for how many characters are left in the window. It might be hard to read if it is in the same writing space as description, so maybe add it in the line "Description:" on the most right, or maybe in the same space where is a button "Submit in GitHub".

Start by locating the feedback form's Description field and the area containing the “Submit in GitHub” button. Add a visible count of characters remaining in the window, choosing a placement that does not obstruct writing; done means the counter updates as text is entered.
