Various html formatting problems (elsarticle.cls)

### Description

Authors have what looks like a clickable link to their details, but none of the hyperlinks work (Chrome browser on a Windows 11 laptop). Affiliations are not formatted correctly: they are showing the markup rather than the formatted text. How are the citations supposed to appear in the text? At the moment, they appear as markup phrases rather than simple AIP numbering, as they appear in the bibliography itself. Markup \curie appears instead of just "curie".
