Footnote popup on mobile off screen

1. the on-site issue repprting tool did not save the description I wrote there into this issue after redirection to GH app on Android

2. the original issue: footnote popup on Firefox for Android is often partially off screen - when I tap on the numbered note, I cannot read the text ourside of my screen and there is no horizontal scroll => centering the popup on narrow screens would work better
