Description
### Problem
Running linux-bench in docker or k8s Pod, I want to check the configuration compliance of the host machine, but actually check the configuration of the container
The results of some commands run in the container are different from the results obtained when run on the host.
### Want
I want to start linux-bench through a container or k8s, and then check the configuration compliance of the host
Is there any solution

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by examining how linux-bench executes host configuration checks when launched in Docker or a Kubernetes Pod, and compare container results with host results. Done means defining and implementing a supported way to check the host configuration from the container, with verification that results come from the host rather than the container.
