Feature Request: Config file option for command line options (suppress, plugin)

I'd like to request using a config file to pass options to suppress and plugin command line flags.

After a certain number of flags / command line length it becomes unwieldy.

It would also be helpful to be able to reuse options by reusing a config file.

Start by tracing the command-line handling for the suppress and plugin flags. Define the config-file format and loading behavior, including how options can be reused; done means both flags accept equivalent config-file options without making command lines unwieldy.
