[Bug]: `container system stop -p /usr/local/container` logouts Mac

`container system stop -p /usr/local/container`

### Problem description

This command just logouts Mac.

Reproduce `container system stop -p /usr/local/container` on a Mac and trace the command's handling of the `-p` path. The issue is resolved when stopping the container no longer logs the user out; the missing OS, Xcode, and Container versions should be recorded while investigating.
