Research direction

The issue names no repository file, test, or entry point. Start by reproducing the NoHttpResponseException after several sequential cases in the stated Appium, Java, Android SDK, Node, and emulator environment, then trace the failing request path; done means the cause is identified and the failure no longer occurs under the reported conditions.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
