Ideas: Traffic Inspectors

Ages ago wanted to write about Runscope Traffic but that's been gone for a while now, and im wondering what is a good modern replacement:

Wireshark seems good for your computer, maybe [https://mitmproxy.org/](https://mitmproxy.org/), but the closest direct replacement looks like [https://curlhub.io/](https://curlhub.io/).

The idea is that you can plop that in without going full blown open telemetry and service mesh? Trying to explain these concepts would just be going down a networking/devops/infra rabbit hole, but this is a good stepping stone.
