Description
I don't know if this has been corrected yet , but the 1 watt LED's pull too much current for the i/o pin on a rpiz2w. the pin output is limited to 14mA. i suggest putting a n-channel mosfet in to drive the leds. connect the gate to the io pin, connect the source to gnd and have the drain connect to the - on the led. i would also not use the 3.3 rpiz2w reg which is limited to 500ma. if all three leds are on it would pull about an amp. i would connect each led to 5v power through a 5.6 ohm power resistor. Simple ohms law stuff...
