Research direction
The issue names Apigee Edge, Apigee X, SAML, and machine credentials but no repository file, test, or entry point. Start by identifying which tool or authentication flow the question refers to and review its existing authentication documentation. Done would require a clearly scoped decision about supported credentials and the relevant documentation or implementation work.
