Could blip take a custom URL to ping?

Use case: I'm SSH'd into a remote box that isn't necessarily close, so apenwarr.ca is not a good approximation of the latency to my box.

Any chance I could get a text box in which to enter a custom URL to ping?

Even better if my custom ping URL were reflected in the site's URL, so that I could bookmark an address to ping my box.
