Start by reproducing the occasional 10-minute timeout when Tez writes blocks to the server, comparing the behavior with the referenced MapReduce method. Review the available client and server logs and configurations, which are not included in the issue. Done should include a confirmed cause and a tested fix for the client-to-server block transfer timeout.
