Some strange content for a template site

Description
I would expect a template site to provide a basic framework which can be updated and deployed easily.
However this site contains a lot of data that is not needed for most sites and will have to be deleted.
For example, the ECCN data, and much of .asf.yaml.
Seems to be more like an example site than a template.
