Description
We already have two ideas linked below similar to this
refs #2436
refs #2428
While many Apache Software Foundation (ASF) projects stick to a classic, text-heavy "Apache Way" aesthetic, a new generation of Top-Level Projects (TLPs) has embraced modern web design. These projects often feature sleek UI, clear branding, and dedicated "Community" or "Team" pages with high-quality avatars and contributor profiles.

I think avatars should be stored with the site so PMC and Committers can choose their avatar if needed.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the existing PMC and Committers lists and the related ideas in #2436 and #2428, then compare the linked Apache project team pages. Determine how avatars would be stored and selected for these profiles; done means both lists can display high-quality avatars chosen by PMC members and committers.
