mx DateField, impossible to manually enter date.

Hello,
I need some help with mx DateField.
I can only choose a date from the date picker, yet I need to be able to type the date manually.
I'm guessing their should be an option to allow it. But the AsDoc forDateField is currently broken. (see https://royale.apache.org/asdoc/#!mx.controls/DateField)

Begin with the mx DateField control and inspect the linked AsDoc page to determine the documented input behavior and available options. Confirm the desired outcome by checking that users can type a date manually as well as select one from the picker, and that the AsDoc page is usable.
