Description

On other similar-ish sites, eg StackOverflow, the default number of items shown is low as with PonyMail. However, it's possible to increase that number if you'd rather a single long list (slower to load) rather than paging through lots

For signed in users at least, it should be possible in your preferences to pick a higher number of messages per page

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the pagination and signed-in user preference areas; done means users can choose a higher messages-per-page setting and that setting is applied when displaying message lists.
