Start with SnapshotManager.java at latestSnapshotId and findLatest, then trace the call from FileStoreCommitImpl.tryCommit shown in the stack trace. Reproduce the Flink 1.17.1 Kafka-to-HDFS workload and determine why the filesystem is closed during the latest snapshot lookup; done means the failure is resolved or its cause and troubleshooting guidance are documented.
