### How to reproduce
After disconnecting the monitor and moving NB to the laptop screen, recount resolution the same way as after restarting NB app.
The best behavior for floating windows could be similar to "find in project" window.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the monitor disconnect and screen-move scenarios described in the issue on Linux/Ubuntu with the Snap package. Investigate how NetBeans recalculates UI scaling and repositions floating windows across screens; done means readable UI scaling after disconnection and floating windows appearing on the active screen.
