Text selection issues in the output window with certain fonts

### What happened

using the the default `monospace` font on fedora (virtualbox/1080p/no scaling)

While testing https://github.com/apache/netbeans/pull/6163#issuecomment-1625313727, I noticed an issue which seems to appear in the **output** window when you select something from right to left:

Something is wrong with the selection. This is not reproducible on my workstation on manjaro linux since it uses different fonts, only on fedora so far.

Terminal works fine.

Reproduce the issue in the NetBeans output window on Fedora with the default monospace font, selecting text from right to left, and compare it with terminal behavior. Trace the output window's text-selection implementation; done when selection renders correctly for the reported font and direction.
