### What happened

The tab width is wrong for the output window when located in editor mode and with closing disabled for FlatLAF (and GTK).

Set Editor.TopComponent.Closing.Enabled=false & move the output window to editor mode.

Reproduce the issue in Apache NetBeans 17 by setting Editor.TopComponent.Closing.Enabled=false and moving the output window to editor mode. Compare the tab width under FlatLAF and GTK with Metal and Nimbus; done means the output tab width is correct when closing is disabled.
