I am using Netbeans to connect to gdbserver running inside VMWare to debug Linux kernel. The session abruptly ends when mousing over some C statement. Easily replicable all the time.

Start by reproducing the failure in Apache NetBeans 15 with gdbserver inside VMWare while debugging the Linux kernel, especially when mousing over a C statement. Compare this behavior with NetBeans 12.3 or earlier and inspect the debugger flow around the session ending with return 1. Done means the session no longer ends unexpectedly during mouse-over inspection.
