Connect only to bonded devices

Hi,
sorry for posting here, but I am trying this alread for days now.
Using nimBLE as peripheral on an ESP32 and it basically works fine.
But one important detail I just cant figure out: my device can be put into a pairing state where it should accept all requests and bond to new devices. I does that currently. But how do I avoid pairing/bonding to now devices while I am not in that state?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by tracing the NimBLE peripheral pairing and bonding configuration used by the ESP32 application, then examine how it enters and leaves its pairing state. Done means new devices are accepted only in that state while already bonded devices continue to connect.
