BKS keystore for running FTPS server on android occasionaly works flawlessly

I've managed to get FTPS working sometimes with a BKS keystore on android. Everything works until the directory listing and then it says that there is a too long tls packet received. For some odd reason, the FTPS connection sometimes does show the directory listing and then everything works right. but after just a recompile and new test it would be receiving incorrect TLS packets.

Does any one know here, what can be the reason of this seemingly random behaviour?

do I have to specify something?

I've done a 5 minute embedding service tutorial and everything does work ok occasionally, but most of the times it fails mysteriously.

Start by reproducing the FTPS directory-listing failure on Android with the BKS keystore, comparing runs that succeed with runs that report a too-long TLS packet. Trace the connection through the directory-listing step and document the condition or configuration that explains the intermittent behavior.
