[MNG-8065] Maven console's colored output does not work in 4.0.0-alpha12

Today I mentioned that the colored output in the console does not work with 4.0.0-alpha-12 anymore.

This was already mentioned by [Alexis Tual](https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=atual) in #MNG-6380 but as that ticket is closed I decided to open a new one.

The issue names Maven 4.0.0-alpha-12 and references the earlier MNG-6380 ticket, but it does not identify a source file or test. Reproduce the console output with that Maven version and compare it with a version where colors work; done means colored console output is restored without regressing the reported behavior.
