Officially supported Docker images

I would like to use `mvnd` Docker image instead of https://hub.docker.com/_/maven for building/testing my projects in the CI/CD pipelines.
There is an [existing project](https://github.com/shencangsheng/mvnd-docker) that seems to be abandoned, and I was wondering if providing an official Docker image is part of your plans.

Start by reviewing how mvnd is currently packaged and tested, then consider how an official Docker image would be built and published for CI/CD use. Done would mean a project-supported image with an agreed maintenance and publishing approach; the issue does not name specific files or tests.
