It would be nice to be able to have the result checkstyle report sorted. I have noticed that it differs from linux to windows machines. While this might be a checkstyle thing for how the report is generated, I think it would be nice to make it an option in checkstyle plugin to just sort the xml document that is created.
I'd be willing to do the work for it, but wanted to submit this here first to determine whether or not the pull request would be accepted if I did the work.
