**[Marcel Schutte](https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=mschutte)** opened **[ARCHETYPE-485](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARCHETYPE-485?redirect=false)** and commented
When using a partial archetype to enhance an existing project, only some parts of the poms are merged. Currently dependencyManagement is not one of them.
My patch provides this support much in the same way as currently the dependencies are merged.
