Description

Add support for OSGi. #2421 added this feature to previous versions, but now lucene jars are not OSGi bundles. There are OSGi bundles from Servicemix, but I think lucene should add this feature.

Research direction

Start by reviewing linked issue #2421 and the current Lucene JAR packaging. Compare the existing Servicemix OSGi bundles with Lucene's artifacts and determine the required bundle metadata. Done means Lucene JARs are published as usable OSGi bundles.
