Description
As remarked by @vy in [this comment](https://github.com/apache/logging-log4j2/pull/2574#discussion_r1598134070) the current Spotless configuration allows YAML files to have a different formatting for empty objects than JSON files.

Research direction
Start by locating the Spotless configuration in the logging-parent repository and compare how YAML and JSON format empty objects. Done means both file types use the same formatting for empty objects; verify the configuration and its formatting checks after the change.
