Research direction
No repository file or test is named in the issue. Start by tracing how Kyuubi handles `SHOW TABLE EXTENDED LIKE 'test_demo_dt3'` and compare its output options with Hive's `hive.ddl.output.format=json`; done means the requested metadata is emitted in a defined, parseable JSON format.
