@pmouawad ([Bug 57640](https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla//show_bug.cgi?id=57640&redirect=false)):
It would be useful to be able through this feature to:
- Make a load test last a bit longer saying (add 1h)
- Increase/Decrease load (add 100 Threads to Thread Group X)
- Pause/Resume rampup (https://github.com/apache/jmeter/issues/2835 feature request)
A shell like stopTest.sh with command line options would be a good way to use it.
