Description
Hi, I'm bo zhao, the [DB SIG](https://gitee.com/openeuler/community/tree/master/sig/DB) maintainer in openEuler community. You can know more about openEuler via [openeuler community](https://openeuler.org/zh/) .
The DB SIG aims to extend the DB eco-system for openEuler, currently, we enabled multiple tradition OLTP open-source databases, including Mysql, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Greenplum and other open-source DB softwares. Also we don't only work around DB kernel, but also introduce more and more DB eco-system tools, such replication, HA, backup tools.
We all know the tradition databases are the basic function/ability for a real commercial solution or a real customer's requirement. So we think the future steps must be related Big data , AI technologies or IoT area. So we want to invite you guys to join openEuler DB SIG for making more things.
1. Maintaining a rpm package in openEuler, bring the upsteam apache/iotdb features back to openEuler community.
2. Improve the current openEuler kernel relied on apache/iotdb customer's requests, or improve the performance of apache/iotdb immediately.
3. Attack more customers use apache/iotdb, and make it easy to install and install/use on openEuler OS.
4. Benifits for both communites to help the customers who have both requests(apache/iotdb and openEuler) to solve their problems.
apache/iotdb team can consider whether it's valuable to do. If you are interested, please contact me directly.
