Description

I am using a grails 2.2.0 that I am upgrading to 2.4.5. I was able to successfully run the grails 2.2.0 project without any issue.

Now, I am encountering some issues having intelliJ recognize a valid class/annotation "import grails.plugin.springsecurity.annotation.Secured".

My fiend who has a mac is able to see that folder and have IntelliJ recognize that import import grails.plugin.springsecurity.annotation.Secured".

Why is that that I can set my Grails version but can't have IntellliJ recognize that class from the plugin?

Research direction

No files or tests are named. Start by reproducing the project import with Grails 2.4.5 on Windows and inspect the IntelliJ project structure for grailsPlugins; done means the plugin folder is included and the grails.plugin.springsecurity.annotation.Secured import resolves.
