IntelliJ prevents from adding line break a GSP Tag,

I have GSP file with Grails Tags and Intellij 2017.3 prevents me from editing sometimes. So within the tag i cannot add line breaks, I can add attributes, change them but i cannot add a new line break.
This is frustrating and annoying since i cannot clean up larger tags
