Grails 3 project creation via Application Forge: Gradle toolwindow is missing in newly created project

New Project Wizard | Application Forge | accept all defaults, OK => project is opened without Gradle toolwindow, it needs Restart to appear.

Reproduce the New Project Wizard flow through Application Forge using the reported defaults and check the newly opened project for the Gradle toolwindow. Trace the project initialization path in the Grails IntelliJ plugin; done means the toolwindow appears immediately without requiring a restart.
