Grails view disappears after some time and can reappear later

Support feedback:

When running Grails projects with the Grails view, it will occasionally switch back to "Project" View. The Grails option is no longer available from the drop down in the top style until you close and reopen the project.

I can debug with Grails 2.5.5. If I wait a few (~2) minutes and check a 'Grails' option appears.

It's an intermittent issue, it usually happens when you have been running IDEA over an extended ( > 1 hour) periods. I hope you find a solution.

Start by reproducing the Grails view switching to Project in IntelliJ IDEA with Grails 2.5.5, including after an extended run. Investigate the Grails view and its top-level view selector; done means the Grails option remains available and the view does not disappear or only return after reopening the project.
