Deprecate CentOS 7, CentOS 8 and Ubuntu 20.04 support

### Description

Currently there are a lot of documentation, scripts, Dockerfiles and CI infrastructure with the assumption of building or running the project on CentOS 7, 8 and Ubuntu 20.04.

But all these distributions have been EOL'ed as of at least 2024 or before.

`CentOS` users are encouraged to switch to `CentOS Stream` and versions 9 and 10 are well supported.

`Ubuntu` on the other hand is still actively under development and all we need to do when dropping `20.04` support is to add support for `24.04`.

There could be other references to different Linux OS distributions that have been EOL'ed in the past and they can be addressed during this same issue.

This will align well with `OpenJDK + Spark` upgrades that are also on the plans for this year and paves the way for recent Linux distribution users to come onboard sooner rather than later.

Search the repository's documentation, scripts, Dockerfiles, and CI infrastructure for CentOS 7/8 and Ubuntu 20.04 references, including assumptions related to OpenJDK and Spark. Update the affected references for supported CentOS and Ubuntu 24.04 versions, then verify that no EOL distribution references remain and the relevant builds or CI jobs still work.
