Is any way for a provider to invoke consumer or this is not possible?

Hello all i have a simple question i want the provider to publish a message in all the subscribed consumers is this possbile? A simple solution would be for the provider to play both role of consumer and provider in order to invoke the exposed api but are there any other smart solution to my case where a provider can send first a message and invoke the consumer? is the opposite thing possible?
