Grafana Login Failure with grafanaPassword set

My grafana secret is configured with the following credentials (fig 1 --admin, admin) using the settings in (fig 2)

However, login fails with (fig 3)

I cannot tell why there's an authentication failure while I am using credentials that have already been picked by the secret.
